Competition Requirements
1. Theme: Environmental Protection, Friendship, Dreams
2. Age Groups: Preschool Group A (4-6 years old), Children’s Group B (7-12 years old), Youth Group C (13-17 years old), Young Adult Group D (18-25 years old)
3. Competition Categories: There are two categories: Painting and Calligraphy
4. Format Requirements:
①Painting
Work Categories: Pen, pencil, oil paint, acrylic, watercolor, etc. You can create with any painting tools and materials
Expression Forms are Not Limited: Realism, abstraction, and animation are all acceptable
Work Size: Either 8K or 4K is acceptable
②Calligraphy
Work Categories: Both soft-brush and hard-brush calligraphy works are acceptable
Work Size: For hard-brush calligraphy, A4 size is preferred; for soft-brush calligraphy, four-foot size is preferred, and it should not be smaller than two-foot
5. Awards: First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, Excellence Award
6. Judging Criteria: Theme (20%), Creativity (20%), Technique (20%), Color (20%), Composition (20%)
7. Each participant can receive a winning certificate and a customized medal issued by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Canada Arts Development Foundation, and the Organizing Committee of the Youth World Cup Painting Competition.
